Exclamation What is it...

Hey... I'm new to the forums but was around for the beta events. Now... I know this isn't completely offtopic from the game but it's definately not just a Guild Wars rant. Granted, this is not ment to be taken as a flame war; but more as something into consideration by other people.

I've been playing for a while now (as said above), but I used to never encounter so much arrogence and rudeness in the game...until now. The farther I get, the meaner and nastier people seem to be.

I'm not talking about simple retardedness, I'm talking about people degrading others on a GAME possibly because they have no self-confidance in reality. That's scary.

My question is this: has anyone else run into this sort of problem? That when you join a group or some random person joins you, they want NO teamwork, they rush off, they swear at you, and they literally try to degrade you through vile curses?

Just a bit of pondering.

that is one of the reasons i use henchmen

i think the further along you get the higher perportion of those types will show up

until the ordinary casual player finally gets there
just a thought

I haven't really had this happen (at least there is no way I can remember them). Besides, I have to deal with enough morons in real life. No matter where you go or what you do, there will be pitiful people there. Just learn to ignore them (on the internet, it's easy. There is a handy "block" button ). Chances are they have a sad existence and are really unhappy. So everytime this happens, rejoice! At least your life doesn't suck... (assumed)

What if it does?!?!?! (/emo)

xD

I abuse the ignore button a lot...but for team play, I kinda need to hear the buttfaces in order to...not die I suppose. It's really difficult. My boyfriend and I agree that it's hard to play with the NPC's sometimes because they're weak but...it's starting to seem very friendly once again.

a second live body really helps with the henchies

one more inteligent person and still get the help of the henchmen
healer is a no brainer and avoid the fighter as he will charge in and be an agro magnet

unless that is exactly what you want as they cluster around him and the rest hit from a distance to thin them out before they come for you
i have a monk secondary with rez so i can come back and raise him if i have to run for my life as many times as needed
